A throw for the sofa is usually about 130 × 170 cm (51 × 67″); to cover a double bed, choose at least 200 × 220 cm (79 × 87″). Check the care line before washing: thick plush and knitted throws often need a gentle cycle and a low tumble-dry setting, or none.
