A large eight-sided aluminium moka pot that brews up to 600 ml of stovetop coffee, about twelve espresso cups, on gas, ceramic or spirit stoves.

Steam-pressure coffee in about five minutes
- Three-part pot: a water base, a funnel filter for the ground coffee and a top chamber with a spout and hinged lid.
- Safety valve: a brass valve on the base lets out steam if the pressure climbs too high.
- Silicone gasket: seals the join between base and top so steam does not escape.
- Plastic handle and knob: stay cooler than the metal body when you pour.
Keep the flame no wider than the base, and take the pot off the heat as soon as it gurgles, usually after three to five minutes, so the base does not boil dry. Some colouring on the underside of the base is normal with use. It is not made for induction hobs.

Care and cleaning
Unscrew the pot and take out the funnel after each use once it has cooled. Rinse all three parts with warm water, clean the filter plate and gasket, and let everything dry fully before screwing the pot back together.
