A black woven polypropylene weed membrane, 1 m wide, sold in 5 m or 10 m lengths. It lets water through to the soil and keeps light from weed seeds.

A woven membrane that lets water through
- Fabric: black woven polypropylene with a tight weave
- Guide lines: green lines woven into the fabric help you lay straight rows and cut evenly
- Planting: cut a cross in the fabric where each plant goes
- Uses: vegetable rows, strawberry beds, borders, under gravel or bark, and greenhouse floors
Clear and level the ground first, lay the fabric, then pin it down with ground staples, which are not included. It cuts with ordinary scissors.

Care and cleaning
Brush off soil and leaves from the surface. Roll it up dry if you lift it at the end of the season.

How do I fix it down? With ground staples or pegs along the edges and seams. They are not included.
Can I plant through it? Yes. Cut an X-shaped opening where each plant goes, fold the flaps back and plant into the soil below.
