Getting the most from solar

Place the panel where it gets direct sun for most of the day. Run time depends on the day's charge, so it is shorter in winter and after cloudy days. Wipe the panel clean now and then; dust and leaves cut the charge.

Charged by the sun, lit at dusk

Can: metal with a bronze finish and a round cut-out pattern
Light: 36 warm white LEDs on fine strands from the spout (supplier-stated)
Power: a solar panel in the lid charges the light during the day
Switching: turns on by itself at dusk and off at dawn
Stake: a scrolled black metal stake that holds the can above the plants

Place the stake where the panel gets direct sun for most of the day. How long the light runs depends on the sunlight it received.
